surprisingly lovely stay

great price helpful staff comfortable bed free parking

I found the price to be great for what was offered. the staff were helpful and really sweet. the bed was amazingly comfortable! all clean and the free parking was super handy. The discount in the bar was a pleasant surprise.

my room was small though it served its purpose for a short stay.

My room had usb plug sockets on the wall. This was useful. the room included a big widescreen smart tv, so i could stream my shows. the shower had good water pressure and plenty of towels were provided.

okay stay, some minor issues

friendly staff great location shower screen maintenance issue

the staff was super friendly and professional! they worked really hard to. the location was also really great for getting around the area!

the room i stayed in was pretty basic and in need of some updates.. the shower screen didn't fit properly, and there were small chips in the bath. also, i couldn't contact reception from my room without going down two flights of stairs, which wasn't ideal.

surprisingly GREAT experience!

great value friendly staff

The VALUE for money REALLY surprised me. The location IS near the city center. It was super convenient. I also found the staff VERY friendly and helpful.

the hotel asked for a damage deposit, which i found unexpected. i wasn't informed about this before arrival, and it took a FEW days to get it back after checkout.

Acceptable, but Some Issues

dated room hard pillows

The location was acceptable. A bus stop right outside was a benefit.

My room was very dated. Cracks covered the walls, and the bathroom door lacked handles. Pillows felt hard as stones. They were not comfortable at all. I had to buy blankets because the room was freezing, even after turning on the heating. I found this quite disappointing.

city center free parking outdated room uneven floor

The location proved excellent. It was near the city center. the room i stayed in matched the price i paid. i also found the free off street parking quite useful. It saved me a lot of hassle.

The room was quite outdated. also, the floors were uneven. It was a bit unsettling to walk on. i think the hotel needs some maintenance to improve its overall condition.

old room surprising deposit

the staff arranged an extra couple nights for me when i asked, so at least they accommodated that.

the pictures online must be from a different reality because my room was far from new. i had to hand over a surprising 50 pounds as a deposit, quite a joke considering the room's condition. the pillows seemed like they were filled with rocks or air, offering zero comfort.

flaking paint hard bed

The staff was friendly and the hotel was easy to find.

My room felt quite outdated, and I noticed paint flaking off the walls. Some ceiling tiles were loose, and the room did not resemble the photos online. I also found the bed to be quite hard, so I did not sleep well.
